On the evening of May 21, we’ll turn our space into a Northern Renaissance art studio

To celebrate Albrecht Dürer’s birthday, professional artist Margarita will guide us through a cozy hands-on session where we’ll copy Dürer’s engravings and sketches using traditional technique and vintage paper. You’ll try authentic drawing tools and learn how artists studied and reproduced images before tracing paper and digital printing existed

No drawing experience is needed, beginners are absolutely welcome! And we’ll provide all materials, including dip pens, ink, graphite, charcoal, and other traditional tools.

During the workshop you will:
Learn an old-school image-copying technique
Experiment working with different drawing materials
Create your own Dürer-inspired drawing on vintage paper to take home
