Experimental composer, avant-rock guitarist, and tireless sonic explorer, Alan Licht, will tour Europe in Fall 2025 to present his new album, Havens, released by Black Forms Editions/VDSQ. For decades, Alan Licht has been mapping the borders between avant-rock, minimalism, and experimental soundscapes. His work has been released by renowned labels such as Drag City, XL Recordings, Family Vineyard, Editions Mego, Room40, Black Forms Editions, No Fun, and Atavistic. A restless creative mind and sought-after collaborator, Licht has worked with an extraordinary range of artists, from free jazz pioneers like Rashied Ali and Derek Bailey, to electronic innovators such as Fennesz and Jim O’Rourke, to turntable artists DJ Spooky and Christian Marclay.
