Teatro Experimental do Porto premieres “A Tecedeira que lia Zola” on April 27, directed and co-created by Gonçalo Amorim. Originally a play created as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of April 25, this new version, which features a completely new cast, returns to a show that reflects the revolutionary action of a group of young people working in factories in the Ave Valley on the eve of the Carnation Revolution.

Also on World Theatre Day, “Peregrinação” by Marcelo Lafontana opens at the Carlos Alberto Theater. Based on the tome by the 16th century Portuguese explorer, this play combines the traditional technique of paper theater with cinema and other audiovisual and multimedia resources.
