Located at Rua das Estrelas, no. 143, in the parish of Massarelos, in the city of Porto, at the northern end of the Arrábida Bridge, the headquarters of the Pernambuco-Porto Institute, with 2,300 m2 of built area, and set on a 7,800 m2 plot of land in the city of Porto, is close to the Faculties of Sciences, Architecture, Letters and the Sports Centre of the University of Porto, as well as the Planetarium and the Municipal Theatre of Porto - Teatro de Campo Alegre. The surface rights to the land were granted on a commodatum basis by the University of Porto, providing the Institute with excellent physical conditions and total autonomy in its activities and operations.
