Since 2013, the Rua do Sol collective has been constantly engaged in artistic programming and intervention in the city of Porto. Initially located in an old warehouse on Rua do Sol, the collective is now based in the Círculo Católico de Operários do Porto (CCOP) building, where it presents itself as a platform for interdisciplinary creation and programming. Its action is divided between personal and collective production carried out in the studios on the second floor of the CCOP building, and intervention in the public sphere through the different types of initiatives regularly organised in Galeria do Sol, a multidisciplinary exhibition space.
