Asterisco (*) is an artistic platform and space, founded in March 2023 by Aura and Hugo Veiga, based in Porto, which aims to unite and support emerging artists and/or those belonging to social minorities. Its mission is to guarantee access to culture, develop sustainable creation and programming practices, value creative processes and share resources and knowledge. Its monthly programme, which began in July 2023, is made up of solo artists, duos and collectives who share their work in a safe and informal environment.
