AP'ARTE Contemporary Art Gallery, based in Porto, was founded in March 2010.

Since its inception, AP'ARTE Galeria's central premise has been the important reconciliation between presenting established artists, whose work is a clear reference on the contemporary art scene; and publicising young emerging artists, consistently supporting their projects and promoting opportunities to publicise their work.

AP'ARTE had the privilege of opening with a remarkable and symbolic exhibition by Nadir Afonso, which coincided with the celebration of his 90th birthday and had the honour of his presence, indelibly marking the beginning of this story. Since then, more than 100 solo and group exhibitions have been held, welcoming the most diverse forms, languages and artistic paths.
