In this exhibition, drawing becomes ritual — a physical meditation on presence, rhythm, and surrender. Using both hands and black ballpoint pens, Inês creates dense, abstract forms that emerge from movement, sound, and repetition. These drawings are not planned, but unfold instinctively, like traces of trance.
Whether created in private or performed live, each work is a record of embodied awareness. For the artist, drawing is a way to return — again and again — to the now.
At the opening, Inês will create a new work live, inviting viewers to witness a stillness in motion.
Where the Line Begins is a meditation on cycles — of creation, destruction, life, and death — and the line that flows through it all.
