On 18 July, marking the culmination of their artistic residency, 𝗝𝗼ã𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗼 (PT) and 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘃 (IN) present the first public sharing of 𝙒𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝘼𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠, followed by a conversation.
Developed through an investigation into touch, 𝙒𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝘼𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠 begins from a physically imposed relationship between two bodies, creating an interdisciplinary dialogue between theatre and dance, voice and movement, language and contact improvisation. One racialised body never touches the ground throughout the performance, while the other becomes its ground.
This open studio is also part of the Circuitos'26 programme by Galeria Municipal do Porto.
