A glimpse at our nosier neighbours. Those ones over there who are always by the window, who never miss the latest troubles unfolding in the street, who catch every interaction on the café terrace, who watch the gentle breeze moving through the trees, who follow every flight across the city, whether planes or birds, and grumble at them as though they might actually listen.

Curious neighbours, indeed. But I am even more curious. I want to watch them in return and discover what they hide inside their homes, what kind of lives they lead, and why they spend so much time peering outside.

And so, there we are, face to face: a pair of impatient, sharp-eyed gazes circling the world around this strange passer-by who stops to observe.

And in the end, who is really watching from the sidelines?

The neighbours, or the curious passer-by?
