Aziza's Friendship Compendium, 1st Edition is an illustrated comic-textbook making an argument for friendship as a feminist, anti-capitalist, abolitionist tool of resistance. It explores the Form, Function, Friction and Fantasy of friendship, breaking down what friendship means, how it works, what it promises, where it fails, and what world we are able to imagine and inhabit with our friends.

In this space we will read parts of Aziza’s book and open a space for discussing and sharing thoughts about this subject. Snacks will be available. The session will be held in English, entrance is free!

Aziza is an illustrator & designer from Karachi, based in Berlin, making comics and animations about friendship, collectivism, joy, romance, anger and rest, and designing print publications and exhibitions, often working with archives, zines and conversations.
