Between December 13 and 16, the Helena Sá e Costa Theater will host NENHURES, a show by second-year students of the ESMAE Theater Degree, directed by António Franco de Oliveira and Julieta Rodrigues. The creation proposes a reflection on a future in which the world as we know it has ceased to exist.
Synopsis: In the near future, the world as we know it has ended! Garbage abounds, chaos reigns, resources are scarce, and the last remnants of humanity are sought! Welcome to NENHURES, where we will discover how to inhabit nothingness. Through the animation of matter, the poetry of bodies, the dreamlike dimension of texts and songs, we will construct a narrative in which we dare to rebuild society. NENHURES will be our utopia of a future that may not be so distant.
