Without a doubt, brothers Michael and Brian D’Addario were born too late. That’s why, ever since they officially became The Lemon Twigs, they’ve been turning back the clock at will, dressing, playing, and living as if they belonged to that golden age of rock that we could roughly place between 1965 and 1972. A masterful exercise in retro mania that creates a fascinating mirage: it truly seems as though they rubbed shoulders with the Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Elton John, Nilsson, James Taylor, Bowie, Big Star, and Todd Rundgren with whom they have in fact collaborated, though their music also gets along perfectly with contemporaries like Whitney, Foxygen, MGMT, and Weyes Blood.

The Lemon Twigs now renew their unwavering commitment to nostalgia with Look For Your Mind!, their sixth album, a new vintage find to add to their collection. Following Brian’s solo debut last year, the D’Addario brothers are back together again for a self-produced album recorded in their own studio in New York. Also, during the recording process, two musicians joined the core of the band and will accompany them live: Reza Matin on drums and Danny Ayala on bass.

They will present Look For Your Mind! on October 15th in Barcelona (Paral·lel 62) and on October 26th in Madrid (Teatro Eslava) in two concerts co-produced by Primavera Tours and Heart of Gold, as part of a Spanish tour that will include stops in Mallorca (October 17th, The Most Beautiful Day), Santander (October 18th, Escenario Santander), Seville (October 22nd, Malandar), Caravaca de la Cruz (October 24th, Caravaca Powerpop), and Valencia (October 25th, Ram Club).
