Porto Arts Club welcomes Studio de-jin for an evening exploring Ishijishi, the traditional Japanese stone lion sculptures.

Through conversation with the studio team, discover the craftsmanship behind these stone guardians, their meaning and the relationship between material, form and tradition. An opportunity to encounter the sculptures up close and gain an insight into the creative process that gives each piece its character.

Join us for an exchange of ideas around Japanese craftsmanship, where contemporary expression meets traditional practice.
