This time, Short Hour Movies takes us to Japan for Tampopo (1985), directed by Jûzô Itami, a deliciously absurd comedy about food, obsession and the search for the perfect bowl of ramen.

Between noodles, recipes, unexpected encounters and plenty of humour, Tampopo is a true ode to food and everything that surrounds it. A film to watch with your eyes, but above all, with your appetite.

And because a film about food calls for food to match, we’ll have a special pop-up by Tio Ming to accompany the screening.
