Emotional regulation in groups
Support Circle

In our everyday lives, we are busy with work, family matters, and other responsibilities. As a result, we often ignore, run away from, suppress, or hide our feelings. Instead, we suggest acknowledging these feelings and fully experiencing them. Emotional regulation is the key to becoming stronger, happier, and healthier as human beings.

Group Sessions Overview:
In our group sessions, we will explore the art of building connections—expressing needs and having the courage to be authentic when meeting new people. Each session will start with a group sharing exercise, followed by activities rooted in our Gestalt practice and other experiential techniques.

The topics can be proposed by the group or facilitated by us. If there is a common topic or need in the group, we'll be able to cover it together.
This group is designed as an open format, meaning that new participants can join at any time.

Schedule & Details
Frequency: One session every two weeks, on Thursday evenings
Duration: 2 hours
Language: English (conversational level required)
Location: Rua da Torrinha 55, Porto (metro Trindade or Lapa)

The aim of this event is to create a safe space and build a stable group where we can connect beyond small talk and personal fears that often prevent us from being our authentic selves. This space encourages diverse views, personalities, and opinions, allowing everyone to express their feelings and ideas (even if they differ). Through this, we foster integration, inclusion, learning, and self-regulation in a supportive environment.
