An intimate journey through the chamber music of the brilliant Luigi Boccherini. Cellist, composer, and one of the greatest masters of Classicism in the time of Haydn and Mozart, Boccherini stood out for his production of string quartets and quintets with two cellos. The Soloists of Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música present this fascinating universe in the Arab Hall of Palácio da Bolsa, marked by the Iberian color that resulted from his long career in Spain. Recalling the man who is considered the father of the string quartet, the programme includes a famous score by Joseph Haydn.
