SLUMBER PARTY: HEARTBREAK EDITION is a performance disguised both as a sleepover and a collective emotional purge. It stems from heartbreak, understood not only as romantic disappointment but also as a metaphor for the frustration that marks our time. In an informal setting, audience and performers share the stage in a flow of conversation, improvisation and vulnerability. Palcos Instáveis is a space for risk, experimentation, and artistic provocation, where artists at different stages of their careers—young, emerging, or established—test ideas and challenge languages. A project by Instável – Centro Coreográfico, in co-production with Teatro Municipal do Porto, which supports contemporary dance creation in Porto and the north of the country through residencies, grants, and performances at Teatro Campo Alegre.
