Serei eu um objeto imaginário?, com Virgínia Mota

Imagine a room full of things from other times, colorful fabrics with textures, fun trinkets and gadgets, a mirror, hats and tools, and suddenly we find an ordinary box with a wig inside and under it a stuffed animal. What will it talk about on the (wire!) telephone with grandmother Elvira?

In this workshop we like to ask questions and think philosophically. And together, we collect objects. Collections are what compose ways of seeing and being, and bring us closer to each person's narratives.

A small object can tell us about a land, a community or a family event. And to know various perspectives on it we will need time and space: whether they are utilitarian, cultural, symbolic, religious, artistic or childish, whose uniqueness contributes to the perception and feeling, self-representative, of each child.

The goal will be to practice individual subjectivity and empathy for the other, without exclusion.

We will realize that objects are friends that help us play at being who we are.
