The Collective Stamps of Portugal proposes the creation of illustrated stamps as a way to revisit, reinterpret, and celebrate the contemporary Portuguese imagination.
Starting from the intimate and symbolic format of the postage stamp, the 10 participating artists developed original proposals that explore different themes linked to Portugal — cultural, social, affective, and fictional. More than functional objects, these stamps are small narrative surfaces, capable of condensing identities, memories, and personal visions.
Inserted in the context of Portugal Day, this project was born with the aim of celebrating Portugal through a diverse set of perspectives, where tradition and contemporaneity intersect through illustration.
The stamps will be materialized in printed format by CTT (Portuguese Post Office) and will be available for sale.
