OMIRI is Vasco Ribeiro Casais's the project and one of the most innovative reinventions of Portuguese traditional music. It mixes sounds and videos of musicians from various regions with urban soundscapes and practices, creating a true “remix” of tradition.

The album Baile Electrónico reached the top 3 of the World Music Charts Europe. OMIRI won the INATEL Award in 2020 and also develops projects with local communities across the country.
