Alice Guy-Blaché was one of the first female film directors and a pioneer in cinematic storytelling, yet for a long time she was rendered invisible in film history. Only now is her importance beginning to be fully recognized.

The live music is by Inês Condeço, a Portuguese pianist and composer who blends piano, voice, and electronics in an ethereal and experimental language. Her album Lacuna (2024) explores delicacy, intensity, and sonic innovation.
