Reza Hasni (1982 Singapore; lives in Berlin) is a visual artist and motion designer illuminating the unseen and emphasizing journey-ing over endpoints.
In his illustrations, animations, installations and textiles, Hasni combines personal memories and fantasies with universal themes such as existence, nature, ethnicity, time and infinity. His work is influenced by Ancient symbolism and sacred geometry spanning the East and West. He explores multi-layered issues such as the spiritual void in the Internet Age and the dichotomy of our worlds - ancient and modern, the real and unreal, construction and destruction.
Joining the artistic program for 2026 at FISGA for a residency and two exhibitions, we expect nothing but the unexpected, the crossing of media arts, wellness, and a deep reflection on individuality, post-Internet society and the relations we establish with the others and the world around us.
