Falsely objective thinking has imposed the idea that certain sexual, gender or family behaviours are “unnatura”'. But nature is much more queer than we are! “Queerying Nature” interweaves words, thoughts and faces to explode the idea of a sexual or gender norm. At the same time, through poetic animation that explores certain animal behaviours, we ask ourselves questions about human beings who, by speaking in the place of animals, are above all talking about themselves. The nature described today is incredibly diverse and varied, with thousands of cases of homosexual birds, transsexual fish, non-binary animals, polyamorous families... So what's happened? Has our perspective changed? Is the scientist's subjectivity a factor to be taken into account? Will it be possible to free ourselves from our shackles, now that we know that they are cultural constructs and not natural “truths”?
