In this relaxed and welcoming session, you’ll design and paint your own ceramic tile inspired by traditional Portuguese patterns. You’ll paint your tile using traditional techniques and ceramic pigments in a cozy art and ceramics studio in the heart of Porto, with tea and a small snack to nibble on while you get creative.

After the workshop, your tile will be fired in a kiln to permanently set the colors. Please be aware that because the tiles need to be fired in a special kiln, they will not be ready for pick-up on the same day! Your finished tile will be ready max. 10 days after the workshop.

You can choose to pick it up in the studio after our notification, or have it shipped to your home.

Shipping costs are not included in the workshop price and will be paid separately by the participants depending on the destination. The studio does not take responsibility for any damage to the tiles during shipping.

Macs is a lively interdisciplinary arts and crafts studio in the Lapa area in central Porto. In our studio space, different art forms are practiced while the front area is reserved for ceramics. Our friendly and creative community are happy to welcome you in this special space where you can take inspiration from other’s creations.
