In this workshop, we'll design and embroider a landscape inspired by our own photos, on cotton fabric, using a sewing machine. Each participant will have their own portable machine and a piece of fabric to work on, or you're welcome to bring a piece of fabric or cloth of your own that you'd like to work on and decorate. We'll begin with learning the basic machine stitches, then each of you will create a unique design to embroider. I will teach you freehand machine embroidery, various embroidery techniques and I will give you creative ideas for your project. Bring your photos, ideas and designs, or take inspiration from the ones I'll provide. Together, we'll create a beautiful machine embroidery piece. All materials, coffee/wine and cake are included. Suitable for complete beginners!
