A Glimpse of the Douro is an invitation to discover the soul of a land where the river shapes the landscape and time moulds its identity. Among terraced hillsides, vineyards, mist and granite, stories of hard work, tradition and belonging come to life, making the Douro and Porto places of singular beauty.

As Miguel Torga wrote, the Douro is a true “geological poem” — a landscape that goes beyond what the eye can see and becomes emotion. It is from this encounter between nature, people and memory that this collective exhibition will emerge, challenging each artist to reveal their own perspective on this timeless universe.

The artworks will be transferred onto ceramic tiles, preserving in pottery the essence of a place where every riverbank holds a story and every reflection on the water carries a fragment of our identity.
