Casa da Guitarra is hosting a workshop dedicated to the Viola Campaniça, led by Pedro Mestre — a musician who has dedicated his life to traditional Alentejo music, developing various projects in this area as a singer, player and builder of the viola campaniça, an instrument he learned to play with the masters Manuel Bento and Francisco António.
Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the instrument in a comprehensive, practical and enlightening way.
