On Saturday, one of Bonfim's most beautiful streets will be car-free! Between Largo Soares dos Reis and Praça da Alegria, the entire street will be open to people—free, ready to be filled with conviviality and imagination.

Throughout the day, there will be activities for everyone, hosted by those who bring the neighborhood to life: studios, bookstores, cafes, shops, artists, musicians, and neighbors. And of course, plenty of free play!

We begin at 10:00 am sharp, at the Largo Soares dos Reis playground, with a performance by Serpentina and a surprise inside the telephone booth. Soon after, we inaugurate the new Parque da Alegria, also known as Laboratório do Brincar (Play Laboratory).

Because we want a city where pedestrians have priority over cars, where crosswalks are for skipping, scooters and bicycles can meander, and everyone can experience the streets leisurely and with dignity. A city where the community unites around shared dreams.
