Portuguese clarinettist Carlos Ferreira has recently won prizes in the world's most prestigious competitions and his career as a soloist has already taken him to several prestigious European orchestras. He is principal soloist with the Orchestre National de France and was named a Rising Star by the European Concert Hall Association, making himself known in the most important European concert halls this season. In his debut with the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música, he plays Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, one of the Austrian composer's favourite works.
