Painting emerged in my journey as a natural form of expression and a way to connect with the world around me. Although I have a background in engineering, it was through painting that I found a space for greater personal and creative alignment. I work primarily with acrylics and oils, exploring themes related to nature and animals, often through an abstract and sensory language. My work does not seek literal representation but aims to translate the atmospheres, memories, and emotions associated with the natural environment. I am interested in capturing what remains beyond the image—the sensation, the presence, the silence, and the subtle power of nature.

Amidst undefined landscapes and suspended atmospheres, presences emerge that almost elude the eye.
Animals inhabit these paintings on a small scale, integrated into spaces where reality and imagination meet.
They do not seek to dominate the landscape, but to belong to it.
Their scale invites a different way of looking: slower, more attentive, and open to discovering what is not immediately revealed.
O Lugar do Pequeno (The Place of the Small) arises from this relationship between scale and meaning—from the idea that presence is not necessarily a matter of proportion, and that what appears small can take on an unexpected dimension.
