A film about memory, reflection, and mystery that stirs the viewer to the depths of their soul. A dying man in his forties reminisces about the past: his childhood, his mother, the war, personal moments, the mysticism of everyday life, and aspects related to the history of modern Russia that are lost in the mundane concerns of daily life.
