Murilo Martinez is a Brazilian guitarist and violist. Strongly influenced by Brazilian border music, his compositions weave between technique and regional subtlety, where guarânia, baião, and contemporary percussive fingerstyle are evident.
His arrangements evoke a musical universe that is characteristic of the artist: melodic singularity and the strength of regional roots. With four instrumental albums and over 14 years of experience in instrumental music, Martinez stands out in the Brazilian and international instrumental scene.
Currently, the artist returns to Europe for the release of his latest album, "A Forma do Som." Throughout his career, Murilo Martinez has performed in numerous venues in Brazil and around the world. He also works with soundtracks for commercials and films, receiving awards at the 2025 Cannes and London Film Festivals.
