Relentless as the rainforest, fertile as the flood, MOVE is the concept and music of bassist Felipe Zenícola (New Brazilian Funk, Chinese Cookie Poets), saxophonist Yedo Gibson (Eke, Naked Wolf, Fish Wool) and drummer João Valinho (Rodrigo Amado Refraction Quartet, Fashion Eternal, Anthropic Neglect). The three are interconnected through a deep awareness of each other’s present creation, destroying musical boundaries, invading the stylistic zones that connect free improvisation, jazz, samba and funk, with a burst of shots marked by flows of chaos, freedom and liveliness. French band FÜLÜ sometimes takes on animal appearances to tell stories of the wild spirit. Combining a brass section with electronic sounds, this peculiar project envelops us in an exuberant universe, weaving an irresistible connection between contemporary jazz, carnival trance and the intense, hypnotic rhythms of techno clubs. A voice, sometimes Italian, sometimes French, summons us to abandon ourselves to dance.
