Having begun his studies in Portuguese guitar at the age of 10, Mike Martins trained with some of the instrument’s foremost masters, including Artur Caldeira, Paulo Soares, and Custódio Castelo, under whose guidance he completed his degree. In 2018, he was showcased as one of the rising talents of Portuguese guitar by Casa da Música – a stage to which he now returns, firmly established as a leading figure for both the present and the future.
