A singer-songwriter from Lisbon, Matilde Leite has just released Por Dizer, an album about everything that was not said at the right time, both in terms of personal relationships and life circumstances. It is an intimate album that stems from a process of emotional mourning experienced by Matilde, where each track, like a page in a diary, records a state of mind, a phase, a memory. It speaks of absence, fear, love, distance, doubt, and obsessive thoughts. Musically, it balances the emotional depth of fado, the freedom of jazz, and the melodic sensitivity of pop.
