A Portuguese singer and songwriter who began her career with the single ‘engana-me hoje, eu deixo’ (deceive me today, I’ll let you), featured on the soundtrack of the soap opera Queridos Papás (TVI), Mariana Reis released the album não és tu, nem sou eu (It’s not you, nor me) in 2024 and, this year, its successor, mariana reis (Acústico). With each album, the artist paints a portrait of herself, capturing the sensitivity and delicacy with which she views everything around her, from the days of blind passion to periods of discouragement and disappointment, without ever losing sight of the understanding and comprehension that she believes will ultimately bring the necessary peace.
