From 19 to 20 September, Alfândega do Porto becomes a giant workshop-laboratory for the first edition of Maker Faire Porto: an event bringing together creativity, technology, education and innovation, open to everyone who has ever taken something apart to see how it works.

Over two days, makers, inventors, artists, schools, universities, companies and associations from across the country showcase what they're building across digital fabrication, robotics, electronics, science, arts, sustainability and the circular economy. Expect hands-on workshops, live demos, talks, exhibitions and family activities: an invitation to experiment, build, learn and meet the people who turn ideas into reality.

The first day (18th) is dedicated to schools and universities; 19 and 20 September are open to the general public.
