"Innovative", "intense", "hypnotic", "masterful" and "visceral" are some of the adjectives this show has received everywhere it has been performed. It's clear that La Chachi has earned its place in this recent trend of dismantling and rethinking flamenco, following the path of other outliers such as El Niño de Elche, Israel Galván and Rocío Molina - who have already performed at the Teatro Municipal do Porto. This impossible climb (judging by the play's title) is a challenge, going from mystical object to carnal struggle, seeking redemption in the other sacred love of the profane without losing depth. - La Chachi
