“Look Inside Your Pocket” is a new circus piece focused on the exploration of a self-supporting Chinese pole. Set in a dystopian world where creativity has been eradicated from society, dominated by automation and apathy, a character comes across a radio in the pocket of an old jacket, which awakens memories and thoughts. Once reconnecting with themselves, they question the importance of imagination and creativity as means of resistance and liberation. Centered around memory as its main theme, this performance aims to reflect on creativity as a fundamental vehicle of our identity.
