Leica Gallery Porto presents Future Studies, an exhibition by Italian photographer Luca Locatelli, internationally recognized through publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times, and as a World Press Photo award winner.

The exhibition is held in partnership with the Porto Photography Biennial, and the official vernissage will take place on May 23 at 7:00 PM, with the presence of Karin Kaufmann, Artistic Director and Global Head of Leica Galleries.

At a time when humanity is facing the ecological limits of progress, Future Studies invites us to rethink the relationship between growth, technology, and nature.

Through powerful and meticulously composed images, Luca Locatelli takes us on a visual journey through biotechnology laboratories, renewable energy facilities, regenerative agriculture projects, and experimental cities — places where the future is already being shaped.
