"Neither night nor day, neither shadow nor silence. Just a certain intimacy that is configured in the spatial arrangement of abstractising geometries inscribed in forms that exclude any representation. Loose Lips Sink Ships — an exhibition by Pouran Jinchi— does not renounce the world, but rather establishes itself in the provocation of the storm, free and adrift. Presented without solid ground and on the verge of shipwreck, it is the pleasure of writing and image that manifests itself as a founding semantic axis and brings us closer to the conversations about Fontenelle's plurality of worlds. Yesterday, as today, more imagination and less communication is what the chromatic and plastic materiality of these strongly structured calligraphic surfaces seems to summon. Without any rhetorical exercise, it is the colors, letters, texts and signs that translate the moment of displacement and the journey between rumors and obsessions that the details of the works manifest."
