LAVA is Allian Fernando's performance and DJ set project. The goal of this sound, image and body exploration stems from the author's need for self-expression, challenging the binary, patriarchal and, in their opinion, boring notions of what constitutes a being or a good show. LAVA's performances have taken place in various spaces and formats, including festivals, techno parties, raves, or galleries; with diverse proposals, such as performance, show and/or DJ sets.
