Brazilian singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Jadsa is set to release her latest album, “Big Buraco,” in Portugal through Lovers & Lollypops. Originally released in 2025, the record marked a new chapter in the trajectory of the Bahia-born artist, earning critical acclaim and a nomination at the Latin Grammy Awards in the category of Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album.
Recorded in Rio de Janeiro and produced by Jadsa alongside Antonio Neves, “Big Buraco” stands out as a radiant yet ambiguous work, where MPB, neo-soul, samba, reggae, blues and hip hop beats coexist within a distinctive, pop-driven and deeply personal language. Through tropical imagery, irony and social commentary, the album builds a universe that is both luminous and restless, reflecting on identity, nationhood and artistic creation.
In April, Jadsa returns to Portugal — following her debut at SQUARE in 2025.
