Instructions 1 provides a brief showcase of individual and collaborative Instruction Art publications and works where, through processes of appropriation such as détournement, rules of etiquette, combat techniques, event scores, chance operations, instructions for handling and archiving books and scrolls, emergency drill regulations, handwashing instructions, and advice for young poets, among others, are deconstructed.
