On December 5, at 6:30 pm, Térmita Bookshop hosts the presentation of the photobook How to Build a Telescope, authored by Carlos Trancoso and published by XYZ Books.

The project originates from an instruction manual found by the artist in his family home, in a remote rural region of Portugal. Using this document as a starting point, Trancoso develops a visual investigation into curiosity, ingenuity and affection, through images, texts and illustrations that reflect on the real and metaphorical construction of an instrument of observation.
