From Berlin to Porto, Kitchen Cheeks is an indie initiative to come together to reclaim spaces in cities, the manual craft of cooking delicious plant-based food and making in real-life friendships with good people. We skip the small talk and get straight into cooking. As a community-run social kitchen, we do everything together from creating the menu, cooking, and setting up the table, to washing the dishes and mopping! For the Opening Picnic Party, we're kicking of the collective cooking residency at Hotelier, by a different format: the goal is to get to know each other and define the menu and distribute the task list for the next weeks, so everyone brings a vegan homemade dish, drink, dessert, etc. to contribute to the potluck style buffet.
