The last Hora de Ponta in May is themed around the Balkans. This late afternoon brings the echoes of a region of great cultural convergence, a crossroads and meeting point between East and West, through the music that has found its way into the Fonoteca Municipal do Porto – tracks dating back to a time when the peninsula was divided among just three states.
Hora de Ponta is a weekly event organised by Fonoteca Municipal do Porto. Every Wednesday between 6 pm and 7 pm, the public is invited to visit the space for an informal gathering and to listen to a selection of themed records.
