Graduation Ball is a classical ballet choreographed by David Lichine to music by Johann Strauss II. This ballet tells the story of a graduation ball at a school in Vienna, Austria. The headmistress of the school invited the cadets of the Military Academy to a celebratory graduation ball.
All the students at the school have prepared a range of entertainment and are very excited about this great occasion. A number of guests are taking part in this ball: Little Flowers, Braid Girls, Ribbon Girls, Sapphires, Silphides, Flower Princesses, Waltz Princesses and Debutantes, who will be recognised by society.
The second part features the Contemporary Act. Several original contemporary dance choreographies bring movement and strength, showing the versatility of a dancer. Through dance, we want to emphasise the importance of knowing how to communicate. The pieces to be performed are: "Anexos", "Run", "Voice", "Sounds", "Into the Earth" and "Eco". This Act will end with an emblematic Grand Finale.
