Each month, Galeria Municipal do Porto invites prominent figures from the world of contemporary thought to participate in informal discussions about the significance of art in their lives and the influences, memories, and cultural references that continue to inspire them.
Constança Entrudo will be the guest for the March session of these Gallery Talks. As the designer and creative director of her eponymous brand, she remains faithful to her art, combining textile research and experimentation with a sense of humour.
After graduating from Central Saint Martins in London, she gained industry experience at Balmain, Peter Pilotto and Marques'Almeida. The brand is based and manufactured in Portugal, and its signature style transcends trends.
Constança Entrudo creates sustainable fabrics that challenge traditional textile manufacturing processes. She designs with absolute freedom from pre-existing design structures, using trial and error methods to achieve the brand's unique fabrics.
